Brewmaster Don "Big Daddy" Spencer is taking your taste buds on a palate pleasing parade through Belgium: land of waffles, chocolate and the beer capital of the world! Big Daddy recently visited Belgium, and the idea for Silver City's new Belgian Blonde Ale was born. Our new Blonde is as unique as it is delicious. Aromas and flavors are delicate and deep in this Belgian inspired brew. An abundance of fruit is present along with citrus from the addition of orange peel. Our Blonde Ale is aged on French oak which adds a kiss of vanilla and a unique mouth feel to enhance the drinkability of this instant summer classic. The alcohol content comes in at 6.5% ABV.
Only thing our Belgian Blonde needs is a name! Silver City is counting on you, so enter "Big Daddy's - Name the Ale" Contest today. The way we figure it - our new Belgian Blonde Ale is so unique, it should be named in a unique way as well. Summer Ale -
Snoqualmie Brewery - Snoqualmie Falls A Pre-Prohibition Pilsner brewed alt style. It starts with a
pilsner recipe, and then some flaked maize is added for fun,
encompassed with a lot of Saaz hops for their spicy flavor,
then ferment it with Snoqualmie's house ale yeast for a
clean, dry beer with refreshing finish. 5.6% ABV
